Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you cancel before the travel start date shown on your certificate, you may request cancellation and a refund of the contribution paid, less any non-refundable payment-processing fee, provided that such cancellation request is submitted prior to the commencement of the cover period. Email inboundtravel@seguroinsurance.net with your certificate number to request a cancellation.

Cancellation of travel arrangements does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund unless expressly provided under the applicable policy.

All cancellations and refunds shall be subject to the terms of the applicable policy and, where required, the approval of Amana Takaful Maldives Plc.

Seguro shall facilitate cancellation requests on behalf of customers. A cancellation shall only become effective upon confirmation by Amana Takaful Maldives Plc in accordance with the applicable policy terms.

Once the cover period has begun, the certificate is in force and contributions are non-refundable.

Amana Takaful Maldives Plc reserves the right to decline any cancellation or refund request where fraud, misrepresentation or material non-disclosure is suspected.

Certificates are issued for the travellers, plan, and dates selected at purchase and cannot be exchanged. If you entered incorrect details, contact us before the cover start date and we will help correct or re-issue the certificate where permitted by the applicable policy terms and subject to the approval of Amana Takaful Maldives Plc.

Approved refunds, following confirmation by Amana Takaful Maldives Plc where applicable, shall be returned to the original payment method (card refunds via Bank of Maldives) or by bank transfer, and may take several working days to appear.

Any payment-processing fees charged by payment service providers are non-refundable and shall not form part of the insurance contribution payable to Amana Takaful Maldives Plc.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended as a summary only. All cancellations and refunds remain subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations of the applicable travel insurance policy. In the event of any inconsistency, the policy wording issued by Amana Takaful Maldives Plc shall prevail.

Seguro and Amana Takaful Maldives Plc reserve the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to comply with legal, regulatory or operational requirements. Any amendments shall apply prospectively and will be published on Seguro's website.
